Ollie Parkin was born and raised south of London, UK, where he received his education in Industrial Design and Engineering. He found himself drawn to the degree's more creative and artistic aspects and longed for a more unrestricted way to express his ideas. 

Ollie has since lived in Vancouver, Canada, for the last 15 years, enjoying the West Coast beauty and lifestyle, and has recently moved coast to coast to make Prince Edward Island his new home. 

His robust and bright artwork is made from coloured pencils and resin on a lathe. They are inspired by his love for colourful abstract and surreal art and the desire to create a structure with a texture that you can hold in your hands. He enjoys playing with the composition of colours within his creations.
